The Afronautz is a collective of DJs and creatives pushing the boundaries of musical expression across the Diaspora and beyond. The Afronautz LLC provides DJ services for community and corporate events alike via both digital and vinyl offerings.

Over the past 5 years DJ Astro (AKA Frank Johnson), the founder, has created soundscapes across Microsoft company activations, local bar happy hours, and storied record shops across the United States. Whether you are a community builder, Fortune 500 event planner, or coffee shop owner, we have the experience to elevate your culture and connect your people.

$200–300 / hour

+ equipment fee from $300

Full production. Nothing for you to worry about.

Full sound setup: controller / turntables, speakers & related gear
Setup & breakdown handled by The Afronautz
Music consultation & event coordination included

Best for: Corporate events, galas & full-production experiences

Trade the digital setup for an all-vinyl experience. Spun entirely from wax for that warm, analog feel — bolt it onto Signal, Launch, or Orbit.
